Anne is often asked about her best loved characters and the relationship with the fictional characters around them, the setting of the books and the eras in which Anne works, so Anne very kindly agreed to be interviewed by her dear friend and long term agent Meg Davis.  What follows are a series of chapters of this 'in conversation' that took place in February 2011 and shows Anne at one of her most relaxed moments, baring all to Meg, particularly when discussing the creation of Joseph Reavley who first appears in 'Heroes' and then the WW1 quintet of novels.

Anne also gets quite emotional when asked about Tathea and Come Armageddon, two books that reflect her Christian beliefs.
